So many people that I teach are on courses because of an incident that has occurred and triggered an urgency for them to become first aid educated. I would like to encourage people to learn first aid BEFORE they experience emergency situations. The grim reality is that one child died because no body knew what to do and the other survived as a nurse was close by and was able to dislodge the object that the child was choking on.
