Young People Informal Learning Centre

The CV1 Young People Outreach Project ( The FratHouse) opened its doors in April 2004. The Centre caters for young people 13 to 25 years old. Our target is to sign up, advise and support "hard to reach" young people (16 to 25 years old) who are in need of employment, education or training (NEET) in the Hillfields area.

B.E.S.T. is our new engagement programme for organizations who provide alternative vocation for local young people aged 16 - 25 years old. With this programme, we aim to improve their IT, Radio Broadcasting Employment and communication skills.

We offer job search coaching to young people whose limited job search skills prevent them from achieving social independence and/or employment goals.

The Grow Project is sponsoring our FREE Training courses in Hair and Nail care . For further information on these courses, please contactAnnie or Wes on 024 7655 0564 or email Hillzfm@ymail.com

We have also cultivated and implemented several recruitment and referral partnerships with Training Providers and local statutory and volunteer organisations. These partnerships are very effective support systems for young people on our programmes.

Please contact WATCH Ltd Youth Development worker, Gino for more information.

The Young Peoples Project at WATCH Ltd is funded by the Big Lottery Fund & BBC Children In Need.
