Wyclef Jean quake appeal 'breaks records'

Wyclef Jean has reportedly helped raise $1 million (£614,000) for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
The rapper encouraged followers on Twitter to donate $5 (£3) text messages to the Yele for Haiti charity, which saw a response from over 200,00 people in just one day.
Fundraising experts claim that the text response breaks previous records so soon after a disaster, ABC News reports.
"This is a watershed moment. It's historic," said Albe Angel, founder and CEO of Give On the Go, whose company is helping Jean raise funds for his Yele Haiti Foundation.
"This has been remarkable in every way."

The Hillz 98.6 FM Radio Talk Show, Kross Kultures gives you, the members of our community the opportunity to;
- Share your life experiences of settling in your new environment
- Identify and explore barriers to young Adults media education.
- Communicate and build inter-community relationships with neighbours.
- Advice and support i.e. media training routes, further learning opportunities.
The Kross Kultures Radio Talk show is a medium for local people to be exposed directly to the different cultures, which make up our community. This Talk Show will allow people to communicate, ask questions and get direct informative answers that may enlighten and dispel stereo types and challenging attitudes that create barriers; like discrimination, access to information and activities that will ensure and support life in a multi-cultural community.
